Welcome Message From Mrs. Zapata
Dear Parents,
I am thrilled to welcome you to another wonderful year at Richey Elementary! As I embark on my 14th year as the proud principal of this incredible school, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude. Born and raised in Pasadena, it is a true honor to serve in the Pasadena Independent School District, a community that means so much to me.
Richey Elementary is not just a school; it’s a vibrant, warm, and inviting place where our dedicated teachers show deep love and commitment to our students and community every single day. We strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
On a personal note, my family is deeply connected to this community. My husband and I have three children, two graduates and a middle schooler of Pasadena ISD schools. We are proud to be part of this amazing district and witness firsthand the positive impact it has on our children’s lives.
At Richey, we believe in fostering a strong school family atmosphere, where every student and parent feels valued and supported. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a high-quality education and ensuring that Richey remains a great place to learn.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. I look forward to another fantastic year filled with learning, growth, and success.
Warm regards,
Andrea Zapata
